Hi All,
From months since CoVID-19 started, we’ve seen TGIF grow from an offline club to an all-online club. There are clubs in the area which have started doing zoom meetings as a replacement for offline meetings, but TGIF has taken it 1 step further by making all aspects of its communications online.
Our scheduling is online – Using easy-speak.org, google sheets, automated email invites, online voting using google forms, and now, having our own website for all things toastmasters.
We’ve had a large online presence for a long time, but we’re aggregating all our content and putting it online – Youtube, Facebook, and all other links.
Our members make their payments online.
We’re scheduling speeches online.
Last of all, we’ve managed to bring all members to online meetings over Zoom and led online training sessions for zoom as well.
TGIF being a 50 year old club certainly has it’s glorious past, but moving online we want to ensure a glorious future as well.
Let’s tighten our belts and see how the new journey filled with much more possibilities goes. And let’s take it to the next step with the new culture it’s bringing us to.
